Salt Life Charters Fishing Boats/ Equipment
About the Captain

Quality charters need quality equipment to make them successful and enjoyable. That’s why we use only the best fishing boats and fishing tackle. Justin keeps three boats on hand in order to provide you with a wide variety of fishing opportunities. All of them are excellent fishing machines and each serves a different purpose.  The current stable of boats includes a 2008 22XL Pathfinder bay boat powered by a 250hp 4-stroke Yamaha, a 2005 21ft Low Tide flats boat powered by a 250hp Yamaha outboard and a 2001 17ft Pathfinder powered by a 60hp Yamaha outboard. Having these three different boats gives Justin the ability to fish just about any area and for just about any species of fish in Charlotte Harbor. From Boca Grande pass fishing for tarpon to the shallow backwaters of Charlotte Harbor's Bull Bay fishing for redfish, Justin can get you there and put you on the fish.

Once you’re at the fishing grounds, you’ll be using top shelf fishing tackle to reel them in. The last thing you need on a charter is consistent tackle failure.  That’s why Justin uses Shimano fishing rods and reels. Their commitment to building excellent fishing equipment is essential to Justin’s commitment of providing excellent fishing charters.
